While it seems we are constantly told why the world is falling apart, I believe (in many ways) there has never been a better time.  If you want to start a business, there have never been more tools to help you get started.  It’s easier to learn nearly anything today if you have an internet connection.

And if you are a creator, you have the ability to share your art with the world.

In the past, there were so many barriers to entry.  If you wanted to write an article daily, you probably needed to be chosen for a large newspaper.  Today, I can share my thoughts for free, with no guardian at the gate.  Want to take it a step further?  You can write and publish your own book using tools like Kindle Direct Publishing.  It’s not perfect, but as someone who has done that, it’s not that difficult either.

If you want to create…you can create.

I was reminded of this recently as I have seen several local (and amazingly talented musicians) post that they have shared their work on Spotify.  I find this incredibly cool.  If you want to create your art, you can share it with the world.  You don’t need a gallery, or a publisher, or a record deal.  You can do it.

Here are a few artists that I have recently had the opportunity to enjoy.

Jason Bryant:  Jason is an incredible pianist and he shared his songs of faith recently here.  Want something to listen to while you do deep work?  This might be perfect.

Monty Soungpradith:  Monty is a friend from high school.  We have seen each other in years.  But I saw this week that he shared some of his music as well.  I am listening to it as I write this very blog.

If you want to share your gifts with the world, now is a perfect time.  The world needs it.
