Content Schedule for 2017

content-planning

During this time of year I try to look forward.  Not only do I look forward to the parties and the get-togethers with family and friends.  I also look forward to the coming year…and what I want that to look like.  So with that in mind I have given some thought to what I want to create, from a content perspective, in 2017.  I want to be intentional.

I have also found that by having a “schedule” for content, it helps to keep me on track.  When I wake up I don’t have to think about what I am going to post.  If I know what day it is, I know what is due.  This works for me (for the most part).

So with that in mind, I wanted to share what I plan to post each day in 2017, with hope for a little feedback.  Feel free to let me know what you think I am missing.  Or, if you feel it, stand up and cheer.  Your call.

Monday:  The Delivering Marketing Joy Podcast is back.  As you may or may not know, at the beginning of 2016 I started doing a podcast every business day.  I maintained that for 6 months before I stopped.  Now I want to revitalize that podcast, but just once a week.  I want this to be a source of inspiration for you each Monday!  Please feel free to subscribe on iTunes or Stitcher or wherever you get podcasts.

Tuesday:  The Weekly Word.  For those that are unaware, the Weekly Word is a short (usually 1 minute) video with a quick burst of inspiration or motivation.  We have taken a short hiatus from this the last few weeks, but will start this up again in 2017.  If you want to see what they are all about you can check them out here on this site.  And of course you can subscribe to my Youtube channel here.

Wednesday:  Delivering Marketing Joy Web Show.  This is one of my favorite pieces of content we do each week.  I interview a leaders, authors, entrepreneurs and more and we ask them 3 questions.  They even get to ask me one as well.  Hard to believe we have done well over 100 episodes!  You can find the most recent episodes here on this site…and you can subscribe on Youtube as well.  In fact, please do!

Thursday:  Kirby Hasseman Blog.  Though I enjoy the ability to write when the mood strikes me on this blog, I have decided to make Thursday the day I promise to have a post here.  I may (and likely will) do more than that.  But this gives me a deadline I need, and I hope gives you something to look for.  Get a taste of this blog here.

Friday:  unScripted Podcast with Bill Petrie.  Each Friday, my buddy Bill Petrie and I discuss topics in marketing and promo…and more.  I look forward this piece each and every week and I hope you will too.  You can find this one on PromoCorner.com.  Here is the latest episode…so bookmark that one!

So that’s a look at the daily content I will be pushing out in 2017.  My goal is to provide you value, so please let me know how I am doing!  What am I missing?  How am I hitting the target?  Here’s to a great 2017!
