What Are You Willing To Do?

what are you willing to do?

One of the biggest problems for many people in 2020 (beyond real health concerns) is that it’s given us all a REALLY great excuse.

I say that because COVID-19 is a real thing.  It has caused real issues.  The challenges that many people and industries are facing are real.  We do have legitimate issues with going to market.  Some of you reading this have lost your job.  I am not insensitive to these issues.

“Yeah,” you might be thinking.  “These issues are real!  These are not excuses!  They are reasons.”

You would be right.  The challenges we are facing are real.  The issues you might have come across are a challenge…for sure.  They WERE reasons.  But here’s the thing…we are past that.  As I said in this blog post, we are here now.  The world has changed.  Things might get back to normal, but we don’t know when.  We have a new reality.

So what are you willing to do about it now?

Too many of us are still lamenting the issues that 2020 has given us.  We are still spending each day frustrated that we can’t do what we want to do.  Many of us are living in this purgatory, waiting for someone to wave a magic wand (or vaccine) that will allow us to get back to the normal life we had before.

That’s why it’s become an excuse.

Now that we are here, you have the ability to grow and change.  What are you willing to start?  What do you want to learn?  Now that we are here…what are you willing to DO?

Despite the fact that we are living in a strange and different world, there are plenty of opportunities to grow and change.  But are you willing to DO about it?  What story do you want to write?

It’s no one else’s job to use this opportunity.  It’s yours.  What are you willing to do?
